[GRASS-user] Does GRASS6.4 supportes Updates of PROJ4?

Greetings

I need to use a newer version of PROJ in GRASS6.4 (I have 4.6.1 and I need at least 4.6.1-5). Does GRASS6.4 supports newer versions of PROJ (even 4.7)?

Yes. I am using 4.7.

And can it be a problem using newer versions of PROJ (4.7) with older of GDAL? (1.6.3.2) for instance supporting certain operations for newly supported EPSG systems?

Best asked on the GDAL list, I guess...
To be honest: I have no idea. I am using PROJ 4.7 together with GDAL 1.7
which works fine.
