[GRASS-user] error importing rasters

hello to everyone,
when i try to import a raster (i tried more than one) i got the following error (in this case i was importing an ndvi raster):

Failed to run command ‘d.rast map=ndvi_20180715@alessandro’. Details:

i run GRASS on UBUNTU 18.04.2 and i reistalled it yesterday since i was having some troubles using GUI. I’m using version 7.4.0.
does anyone know what’s wrong??

Hi Alessandro,

did you import the rasters in a newer version of GRASS, i.e., 7.6? It seems to me it is not recognizing the compression which is now by default in 7.6, but not in 7.4. I would try to get 7.6 installed again.

For sure others know better
