[GRASS-user] Extract Building Footprints from LiDAR

I was wondering if anyone has tried to extract building footprints
from LiDAR LAS files. I searched the archives and could not find
anything.

There is a great suite of lidar tools in GRASS. One that might target your needs is http://grass.itc.it/grass64/manuals/html64_user/v.lidar.edgedetection.html
