[GRASS-user] Generalization or interpolation using the majority

Greetings

I have a raster classification map with a 100 meters resolution and I want to interpolate to 200m resolution using GRASS and, the output value must be the most frequent value (majority).
Here goes an examples. Intput:
1 1 1 1 1 2 3 4
1 2 2 3 2 2 3 3
2 2 5 2 2 2 2 2
3 2 5 5 1 3 4 5
Output must be:
1 1 2 3
2 5 2 2

My question is what method do you advise to be used?

Hi Markus

It seems that it does exacly what I want. I just have one question:
I need to first set the region spatial resolution to 200 before I run r.resamp.stats right?

Yes. Resampling modules (r.resample, r.resamp.stats, r.resamp.interp,
r.resamp.rst) resample the map to match the current region settings.
