[GRASS-user] Generalizing SRTM DEM for hillshading

Dear all,

thank you very much for all your thoughts on generalizing. Gee, that's a lot to work through. I will be back as soon as I can compare and maybe show the results of the different methods.

BTW: You can use d.polar to verify the DEM quality (check for
spikes). Yesterday I added EPS output support in 6.1-CVS.

Is d.polar in (or destined for) the cvs or is it an add on script?
