[GRASS-user] georectify (g.gui.gcp) fails !

Dear grass community,
I am using GRASS 70, 32 bits on a ubuntu 14.04 machine.

Everytime I try to use georetify (g.gui.gcp) it fails to show the image in the souce display. i.e. the image group to be rectified. The only error mesagge I get is this python-related message in the terminal:

(python:4047): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_get_direction: assertion ‘GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)’ failed

Have any of you faced the same problem before?
thanks in advance for any help
best regards

I just tested the georectifier and it worked for me (ubuntu 14.04, wxpython
2.8). This error shouldn't cause any problems. Do you perhaps use wxpython
3? That could theoretically cause some troubles.
