Hi all,
I am running fedora core 6 and am having some difficulties running
grass 6.2. I am able to create a location and mapset using EPSG
codes, however as soon as I "Enter Grass" the application crashes.
Any ideas or workarounds.

Travis,
could you define "crashes"?
BTW: 5 minutes ago I have packaged GRASS 6.2.2RC1 which probably
cures potential gis.m problems (I suspect that you refer to this).

Manuel,
I am running:
Linux version 2.6.20-1.2948.fc6
Markus,
I believe this is the problem you are referring to, the gis.m will
start for a few seconds then disappears after "entering grass". I
will give 6.2.2 a try.
Thanks
Travis

Sorry to bother you again, I tried the grass6.2.2 cvs update but am
still having the same issues (see below). I thought it could be a
permission issue but changing the permission didn't fix the problem.
Any thoughts.
