[GRASS-user] Grass 7.0/6.4 unable to make groups

probably a newbie question. I tried to make a group. It wouldn’t work in the gui, the gui dialog would just quit without any output. I managed to do it via the command line. Is this a bug? Am I missing something?

OS X 10.10.3; tried with both Grass 6.4.4 and 7.0.0. Same results.
