[GRASS-user] GRASS GIS on gis.stackexchange.com

Hi,

just FYI - sometimes interesting questions (and answers come up) at
http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/grass

While you are at it, please upvote our logo - with >= 6 votes it will

Good initiative Markus. I added my vote and added a post on the Google+ GRASS GIS News community page for some extra exposure. The number of GRASS specific questions are now still relatively few, perhaps because of the very active and responsive GRASS email lists?

Excellent!

I guess and hope so  And hopefully also due to the ever improving
documentation... [1]

I don't completely get the years on the voting for the community adds on
GIS SE, but there is a new voting with new requirements for the image:

Thanks, but the logo needs a border. I was not reading it before but now I
see that the other images have border. Sorry for not catching this sooner.

No problem! I could have read carefully myself

Easy to solve:
convert first_attempt.png -shave 1x1 -bordercolor black -border 1
img_with_border.png

file img_with_border.png
img_with_border.png: PNG image data, 300 x 250, 8-bit/color RGBA, non-interlaced
