hi all,
I have been using grass now for over last 2 months or so.
I have been working off the Laussagne linux live CD.
Can anyone suggest me the minimum packages and the way to
install grass on a red hat linux system. I am having difficulties
as the packages suggested in the grass site, has too many dependencies
thanks in advance

You will need to go though the RPM dependencies and install them all.
No way around that, but you only have to do it once.
I don't know if rpm has an option to work like Debian's apt-get and
install the full dependancy tree automatically.
how about using "yum" to install the package instead of "rpm"?
