My
Xterm window in the background works and I can type in commands such as
i.ortho.photo and receive the appropriate responses. But this antique
map just sits in the middle of my screen, and always on top. I can't
move it or hide it behind anything. I did RTFM and didn't see this
noted anywhere. Running GRASS 6.0.0 through Cygwin on Windows 2000 Pro
SP4. Grass and Cygwin downloaded and installed just as is shown at
http://geni.ath.cx/grass.html.Thanks!
try start grass with -text option (grass61 -text)
