I'm seeing an issue with Grass-6.4RC5 under OSX 10.5, with the GUI sometimes hanging when I resize the display.
I have something that I need to process quickly next week, so I'd like to adjust the display size on startup to my preferred dimensions. I can try and work out what's wrong later ...
The question is, where is the variable for setting the map display size?
for xmons (no GUI), GRASS_WIDTH and GRASS_HEIGHT + d.mon.
see "g.manual variables" for more info.
if in a rush you might also try the old gis.m GUI or the surprisingly
fresh d.m GUI. (Mac and Li*nux only)

Interestingly there's something in the setup (6.4RC5 on OSX); when I use:
g.gui oldtcltk
I get the same result as if I use d.m ... so the old GUI really is dead I suppose.
Cheers,
RC
