[GRASS-user] help with nad27

I am trying out ominiverdi liveCD.
I am unable to create a new location with nad27 projection type!
Why should that happen ? I won’t just show up in the list of defined projections when I type list
any idea ?

Please let us know what you explicitely need. NAD27 is a datum,
not a projection. It will be listed when selecting a datum, but first
you have to select a projection.

My current EPSG file defined 370 projections with NAD27 datum.
