[GRASS-user] How to start GRASS with the local language settings?

Hi
I know there is a posibility to get an German language-gui. (Maybe some German Helppages too?) How to start it?

Is there a flag like --lang de in QGIS?

I use debian etch and GRASS 6.3svn

Sure:

A) if not on German locale PC:
export LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
export LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8
export LC_ALL=de_DE.UTF-8

B) Or set user interface (Gnome or whatever you use) to German language.

German help pages aren't available yet. We still have to implement
a way to store and install them (and then someone has to translate...).

e.g. Lorenzo's GRASS binaries for Mac. (lang choice in startup GUI)
