[GRASS-user] i.aster.toar not respecting region?

Hi all

After importing ASTER bands with r.in.aster and setting zero as NULL, I ran i.aster.toar, but it looks like it’s not respecting the region, and this results in the 3B band to be clipped in the southern portion. See attached images.

band 3B:

band 3B after i.aster.toar:

On a side note, I had to make some minor modifications to r.in.aster, but i’ll leave that for a different message.

best

Carlos

Hi Carlos.

I am out of the loop, but, perhaps relevant. I had to scratch my own version once (sorry, bash
at the time), see: https://grasswiki.osgeo.org/wiki/User:NikosA#ASTER_L1B

Kind regards, Nikos

Thanks Nikos!

i’ll look into it and see if I can get it to work in Python.
