I have created a group and subgroup for an image and created a signature file with i.gensig. I can use the group, subgroup and signature file in i.maxlik to get a result. But in i.smap the signature file cannot be found. What might be the problem?
it seems it is a problem of the module GUI. I was able to run the process in the terminal.
I use GRASS GIS 7.2.9 uon Ubuntu 20.04..5 LTS.
Cheers, Klaus
Dear all,

It worked? Strange, as i.smap requires signature generated by
i.gensigset and should not work with one generated by i.gensig (this
fact is even present in the documentation).
i.maxlik can work with signature file from i.gensig or i.cluster as
both programs generate signature file with same structure.
Māris.
P.S. GRASS 8.2 is much better as a lot of bugs have been fixed.
