[GRASS-user] Interpreting t.info metadata

t.info metadata for the STRDS of water accumulation over 23 days are:

North-South resolution min:. 1.00003
North-South resolution max:. 1.00003
East-west resolution min:... 0.999846
East-west resolution max:... 0.999846
Minimum value min:.......... 0.001
Minimum value max:.......... 0.001008
Maximum value min:.......... 0.47729
Maximum value max:.......... 3.01965
Aggregation type:........... None
Number of registered maps:.. 24

Input rainfall data for each day ranges from 0.0 mm/hr to 1.12 mm/hr. I
want to learn what the min/min, min/max, max/min, and max/max values
represent.

TIA,

Rich

You have 24 maps and therefore 24 minimum values, one for each map,
and 24 maximum values. t.info shows the minimums and maximums of these
values. The smallest minimum value of all 24 maps is 0.001, the
largest maximum value of all 24 maps is 3.01965.

Best regards
Soeren

Soeren,

Those values make sense to me. But,

Minimum value max:.......... 0.001008
Maximum value min:.......... 0.47729

these two don't.

Thanks,

Rich
