[GRASS-user] map with grid

Hi,

I want to generate a map with boundary of an area and with a grid of 1 kmq, like those in the attached figure…How can I do?

depending on what you exactly want to do, the manual say that there are 2 possibilities:

to only display a grid: http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/manuals/html64_user/d.grid.html
to create a vector grid: http://grass.osgeo.org/grass64/manuals/html64_user/v.mkgrid.html
