[GRASS-user] MASK on red in the display window

Greetings All

My GRASSsvn6.4.0 has a big Red “MASK” at my GRASS GIS Map Display. What does this means?

Probably that you have a mask raster active?
Any raster named MASK is a mask, and almost all raster commands will be limited to the area covered by the mask.
