[GRASS-user] Multi-scale Segmentation

Hi there,

I’m planning on using GRASS to do some landcover classification and I wanted to know if anyone has developed, for GRASS, a multi-scale segmentation algorithm? or integrated on GRASS a similar segmentator from other software.

You can look at OTB (http://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/otb/) and Monteverdi (it is built on OTB functions). OTB provides some interesting segmentation functions (http://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/SoftwareGuide/SoftwareGuidech16.html#x43-23700016).

Do you know any other research group that is doing the same work and made available a few scripts/functions?

i'm afraid that you must write codes for youself if you want to do the
muti_scale segmentation ！
but there are software such as ENVI EX
