[GRASS-user] "opening Grass problem"

Im so new in grass gis, so i look for help on freenode and told me about the mail list
,there i found out that i could install it from the qgis package, and i did it, now when i try to open it this appeare:

Error setting region (Problem with g.region?):
child process exited abnormally

and after that one this:

g.proj or projectionn error:ERROR:G_getenv():
Variable LOCATION_NAME not set

what i have to do?
All suggestion will be welcome!

Hi,

as far as I know, it is not possible to install grass from inside qgis.
There you can install a plugin, that allows you to use grass from inside
qgis. So you have to install grass seperatly.

Depending on your operating system, you can install grass gis from here:
http://grass.itc.it/download/index.php
