[GRASS-user] openSuSE 10.2 rpms

I started using GRASS for my work, some months ago. I built some openSuSE 10.2 rpm packages of GRASS 6.2.1 and related software, for both 32 and 64 bit machines. I made those packages available to other users in the hope that they may be useful. The 32 bit packages have been tested for a long time. The 64 bit ones are almost untested. All the packages are available for download from my web site, www.teodori.org in the repository section.

Hi Francesco,

nice. If you would like to build qgis packages for suse 32bit and 64bit as well,
you might have a look here and we could add all the opensuse links to our and
the GRASS and QGIS project download pages for other users.

32bit

64bit

BTW: Do you plan to do the SuSE RPM building regulary. I don't use opensuse very
often anymore (only for 32bit RPM building on a friend's PC), so it would be
great to have another person building them.

regards,
Otto

Hi Francesco,
[Cc: Markus Neteler, Gary Sherman]

Thank you Francesco. We could add a link to your site from the GRASS and QGIS
project pages. I guess the OpenSuse users will be happy!

Markus and Gary - would you mind to add the link to the GRASS and QGIS download
pages for Opensuse 10.2 - 32bit and 64bit:

http://teodori.org/remository/grass.html

thanks a lot
   Otto

BTW: I didn't know the Remository package for joomla - looks nice!

No problem, I am pleased. Yes, I will use GRASS for my work, reason why I
will produce the rpm packages regularly. I need them!!
