Has anyone succesfully orthorectified satellite imagery with GRASS ? What ever happened to the i.points3/i.rectify3 efforts ?
More generally, what should I advise people switching over to GRASS to use for orthorectification of satellite images ? Ossim ?

AFAIK it is currently not possible since GRASS supports central projection
while satellite maps are linewise oriented and to rectify in this way.

Unfortunately stalled - volunteer wanted!
