[GRASS-user] patch a large number of tiles with rules

Hello,
for a study area we are working on, we have generated around 3000 tiles
partially overlapping each other by a constant amount of cells (on the
north, south, east and west sides).

We would like to patch this tiles in order to obtain a single layer but,
the general rule must be that, in the overlapping zone of two tiles,
the minimum value of the two has to be chosen.

We have created a script that use r.mapcalc to sequentially patch each
tile to the previous ones, but, as you can imagine, it takes to much to
run...

Any idea?

Many thanks

Ivan

Won’t r.series meth=min do that?
