[GRASS-user] Problem to import a shapefile!!!

Hi,

I work with GRASS 6.4.2 (2012),
OSX 10.6.8

Error message:

Illegal filename. Character <Ì> not allowed.
Vector map <polytext_tmp@sudamérica> not found

The file name is polytext.shp

Any idea?

It’s probably the accented character in the LOCATION name. Can you just rename sudamèrica to something else with only ascii character in the name?
