[GRASS-user] Problem while compile source.."gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec"

Dear Frnds,

I am getting error when compiling source by usng grass65-wxpython within msys.

the error massage is as follows.

gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec `D:\Bhoomi\bin..\libexec\gcc\mingw32\3.4.5\cc1.exe’: Exec format error
make[1]: *** [OBJ.i686-pc-mingw32/main.o] Error 1

please suggest anyway by which i can solve it.

Hello Sandip,

I got the same error as you some weeks ago when compiling.

You followed the wiki (how to compile on windows)? When copying all the folders into the subfolders also the libexec folders must be copied from mingw32-make and mingw-runtime although the don't exist in the osgeo4w directory by default. Thats what helped in my case.
And make sure there are no spaces in the source tree path.
