[GRASS-user] Problem with vdigit in 64 release

Hello,

I have a problem with vdigit (64svn). It compiles but doesn't work.
I can start vdigit (from map window) and get the icon set in the map
display. I can choose a map, but then nothing happens. I can not edit but
exit vdigit mode ok.

Python 2.5.4
wx-config --version-full 2.8.9.1
SWIG Version 1.3.38
gcc i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.3.3

I always do a 'make clean && make libsclean && distclean' prior to compiling

./configure --with-cairo --with-mysql
--with-mysql-includes=/usr/include/mysql --with-freetype
--with-freetype-includes=/usr/include/freetype2/
--with-fretype-lib=/usr/lib/ --with-python --with-sqlite --with-odcb
--with-readline --with-opengl --with-cxx --with-gdal --with-opengl
--with-regex --with-wxwidgets=/usr/bin/wx-config --with-postgres

wx-config is a symbolic link to wx-config-2.8

I have a symbolic link to _gdi_.so
/usr/lib/libgdi.so ->
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/_gdi_.so

I make clean and make vdigit in gui/wxpython/vdigit -- no errors there

make distclean is enough.

I have a symbolic link to _gdi_.so
/usr/lib/libgdi.so ->

you don't need that. Wxvdigit uses local copy of PseudoDC.

well, see my last reply. Try to put some more debug messages,
recompile wxvdigit module, etc.

hi,

I had some trouble with my system. Glibc wouldn't compile and I thought a
messed up system might be the cause of my problems with grass. I finally
fixed it, but my grass problems haven't changed.

will come up with more debug info asap.
