[GRASS-user] problems with r.cost

I see.

There must be a couple people on the grass list who can look at it. If you
can, try and get in touch with the SOC people, as there is a project related
to cost surface analysis - they might be able to help.

There does not appear to be any reference to the sites lib in
r.terracost*, so porting it is simply a matter of converting the
Gmakefile into a Makefile. You can probably use r.terraflow as a guide.

[*] starting points are taken from a raster map.
