I hope it is OK for someone new to the community to nominate someone
for the PSC. Since starting to use GRASS, and during my GSoC project,
I have noticed Moritz as a very active member on the mailing lists.
His contribution to the discussions are quite broad. He responds to
new users with very helpful and accessible advice for getting started,
and also provides insightful feedback and testing for the more
prolific developers. I also recently noticed he has in the past
invested significant time into the code base itself (Among the top 20
for all time commits and in commits for the last year. [1] )
Not sure if my vote counts, but I'd like to add my +1 here. I had the
opportunity to exchange emails with Moritz during Eric's GSoC project,
and certainly appreciated his contributions and his very sound
understanding of the GRASS GIS project as a whole.
