[GRASS-user] question with gipe

Hi Yann and the Grass community,

I am trying to install gipe in Grass 6.4 but can not find the install_yanns_grass.sh file

It is not in the gipe folder  [https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass-addons/grass6/imagery/gipe/](https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass-addons/grass6/imagery/gipe/)


Could anybody give me some help please?

Hi Jiao,

The repository has evolved a lot, and GIPE is no longer a one block of add-ons to install…I will clean up this readme file soon.

Some addons have gone into grass7 as part of the main GRASS modules, some more specialized are still in AddOns, but some have moved in version 7, still some remain non ported in GRASS 6 AddOns, shall try to fix this soon.

My aim is to get all gipe addons modules ported to GRASS 7 this year to prepare for the new version.

Hi Yann,

Thanks for following up with my question about GIPE.
I was able to install the model I need in Grass 6.4.2.

I am very grateful for your effort developing these useful models.
