[GRASS-user] r.boxcount always gives 2.0

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the purpose of the add-on r.boxcount but
it seems that it gives a 2.0 fractal dimension no matter what map I
use.

I assumed that I could re-calculate the fractal dimension of a map
created with r.surf.fractal, but again it always gives back 2.0.

Can anyone clarify what this module is supposed to do or if I'm just
using it wrong?

Thanks,
Colin

This sounds like a bug, note that the module is very old and probably
needs an update to the recent GRASS versions (for example, it doesn't
seem to run on my 64bit box).

Not much help...
