[GRASS-user] r.carve - strange problem on dem carved

Dear All
i'm preparing a DEM hydrologically correct carving it along a stream
line with r.carve.
Whether looking at profile of the dem carved I observe that exactly in
the cell corresponding to the stream line it does not carved the dem so
it create a channel but with a peak in the middle where i have the line.
Does anyone tried to use r.carve and have experienced the same problem?
In case how can i solve it?
thanks
Pierluigi

Just FYI, there is also:

(perhaps someone here has an idea about the
reported problem).

r.hydrodem does not carve predefined streams into a DEM, only r.carve
does that. Alternatively, you can can calculate the lowest elevation
value for each stream segment, carve that value into the DEM and then
use r.watershed without any further modifications to the DEM.
