[GRASS-user] r.in.srtm help

Hi,

I have downladed some srtm30_plus data from http://topex.ucsd.edu/marine_topo/
in the format: data.srtm.

The command r.in.srtm is looking for a *.hgt.zip file. Is it possible to import such type of data in GRASS?

TIA

Antonio

Yes: r.in.bin
http://grass.itc.it/grass62/manuals/html62_user/r.in.bin.html
-> see TOPEX/SRTM30 PLUS

I have added a hint to the r.in.srtm man page.

cheers,
Markus
