Is there any good and recent detailed reference and examples on how to run r.topmodel? I've found only several old dicussions on the topic.

You can find a brief HOWTO at http://geni.ath.cx/r.topmodel.html. This
webpage also includes a sample dataset although it is missing original
map data. If you have any questions about running the module, please let
me know.
