[GRASS-user] Re: intersection of vectors not working (fixed but some issued remain)

So, I managed to get the intersections of contours with drainages. But
not the way I wanted at first. If I just derive the contours and
drainage, I don't get the intersections. If I export them as
shapefiles and import again, then I get intersections...

but then...

Intersections: 0 (line 683)
Intersections: 0

I don't understand. Did I miss something on generating contours or
converting drainage to vector? I used v.build on both maps prior to
v.patch.
