I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome Michael Barton to the GRASS Project Steering Committee. And with the momentum we have going so far the PSC is grow to its mature size, at which point the Community can work with them in getting GRASS on the books at OSGEO (and all the small details in between).
I thought that 5 supporting votes for nominees would be nott too much and not too little to get the PSC started. Micheal at 9 votes I think is quite healthy.
If you see someone name in the Outstanding Nominations list with more than 5 it is because they have not OFFICIALY accepted their nomination. Nor have they rejected it. If you want to see the people in this list on your PSC then drop them a personal line and let them know their presence would be appreciated. Hopefuly to drop them a line you have some type of raport with them and that the whole world doesn’t e-mail them. Just a sugestion.
