[GRASS-user] reposition image...again

i have 2 maps i want to use, but i need to position them correctly. The problem is the corners have different values, meaning Left top X, is not the same has Bottom top left X, so i cant use N;S;W;E has usual.
how do i solve this situation?

i thought it was using r.region or something similar but i can see that it requires a more effort.
