[GRASS-user] Time difference: g.gui.psmap and ps.map

   Using g.gui.psmap in 7.7.svn, Ctrl-e prints a .ps file right away. I can
view the file with gv. Using ps.map from the command line takes a _very_
long time to read the raster map (that's where it appears stuck with the
CPUs fully occupied).

   Why is the command line so much slower than is exporting the .ps file from
the map composer?
