[GRASS-user] Ubuntu GRASS Stable

Hi,

i just wonder if the grass version in the sources (ubuntuggis, linked on the grass hp) is the latest stable release, because its named 6.4.0~rc6-2~lucid1. Sounds like an earlier rc. Are there any other repositorys for the stable release, or when will it be updated?

Hi,

6.4.0RC6 is two versions old now, but not so bad. (more important for
MS Windows)

I think you might find the answers you are looking for on the UbuntuGIS
mailing list, http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu

or built 6.4.svn from source code yourself (see instructions in the wiki
and in the debian/ dir in the grass source code)
