Hi,
I have installed the latest version of GRASS 7 (updated as on Jan 12,
2013) from here http://grass.osgeo.org/grass70/source/snapshot/ on my
ubuntu 11.04.
while running the t.rast.mapcalc I am getting following error message:

Hi Manish,
This error was solved recently (13.01.2013) [1] . Unfortunately is the current snapshot to old for this changes. Soon a more recent snapshot should be available.
Best regards
Soeren
