Dear all,
the GEOSTAT summer school (www.geostat-course.org) focuses on statistical analyses of spatial and spatio-temporal data using open source / free GIS tools: R, SAGA GIS,GRASS GIS, FWTools, Google Earth and similar. Several courses dealt with the usage of GRASS GIS for spatio-temporal data analysis (e.g. courses by Dr. Markus Neteler, Dr. Markus Metz, Dr. Dylan Beaudette).
