I am new to grass (6.4.4 [windows 8 64 bit])
I tried running as v.rast.stats suggested in the tutorial at http://grasswiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Quick_wxGUI_tutorial and found that “DBF driver supports only a few SQL statements” (http://grass.osgeo.org/grass65/manuals/grass-dbf.html)
Apparently I need to db.connect to one of sqlite, pg, mysql, or mesql in order to run some functions.
Does anyone have any suggestions about which of these might be most suitable (for use with GRASS by a novice sql user)?
