When I start WinGRASS 6.3 in Command line mode I'm not able to open a
monitor. I tried with
d.mon start=x0, but it doesn't work. Any suggestion?
Thanx, Gianandrea

Hi,
I noticed the same problem some weeks ago.
Now I created a ticket.

Monitors don't work on Windows. If you run a d.* command, it will just
create an image (by default, a PNG file named map.png). d.* commands
which use the mouse just won't work; you'll need to see if there's
equivalent functionality in the GUI.
