[GRASS-user] WMS server (Landsat/Sentinel)

Hello all

I’m looking for suggestions of a nice WMS server with Landsat or Sentinel (or similar) data with good resolution so I can use to make some locations maps for a paper I’m working on.

The information on r.in.wms man page is outdated. http://irs.gis-lab.info is not available, as well as nasa’s onearth.

many thanks

Carlos

There is e.g. the new Sentinel-2A European mosaik by EOX.at:
https://s2maps.eu/

AFAIK they offer a WMS, too.

That’s a very nice data source, Markus, but it’s only for Europe. If only I could find something like that for Brazil…
