GRASS4.1 on SOLARIS 2.3

Can GRASS4.1 be used with SOLARIS 2.3 ?

Yes - I successfully installed GRASS 4.1 under
SOLARIS 2.3. I did have a problem with the X driver.
d.mon start=x0 gave me an error message. After I set
the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to
/usr/ucblib d.mon worked OK. I haven't had any
other problems.

John -- did you compile GRASS4.1 from source or did you use the
pre-compiled binaries? If compiled, what compiler?

I compiled GRASS from source using cc compiler.
