Hi,

I compiled grass4.1 on SUN(SPARC 1) with MOTIF1.1.4. Everything seems fine
during my compiling. But when I try to display a map layer from the
spearfish data base in a window(XDRIVER), the map is displayed
in white(or black) and the menu flashes when I move the mouse.

My monitorcap file is:

x0:driver/XDRIVER:X-windows graphics display: \
     /raster/grass4.1/src/src/sun4/dev/fifo.1a /raster/grass4.1/src/src/sun4/de
v/fifo.1b \
     ::any terminal
x1:driver/XDRIVER:X-windows graphics display: \
     /raster/grass4.1/src/src/sun4/dev/fifo.2a /raster/grass4.1/src/src/sun4/de
v/fifo.2b \
     ::any terminal

Does anyone over there know what is wrong with my compiling? Please

what function do you use to display a map?
d.rast or d.display?
