bsq format into GrassA description of the data is as follows
Imput file IMAGERY.PAN
Data format BSQ
Data Type 8 bits

Line header byte 32
No of rows 2803
No of col 2714
No of Band 1
File Header Byte 540I have used the r.in.gdal command with input file as IMAGERY.PAN but I am getting the following errors:
CPLMalloc(): Out of memory allocating 469893120 bytes.
I use grass5 on Pentium-4 processor PC with 128 Mb of RAM and 200Mbytes of Swap memory on Redhat7.2 Linux.
I have even tried to increase the swap memory by creating a swap file. But this agian I got the same error message.
The folder containing the Imagery file, my computer report is only 7.9 Mb.
Can anyone suggest a solution?Merci
