I would like to use Grass for the importing of CoastWatch AVHRR data. It is projected in Mercator with a spherical earth having a radius of 6371200.0 meters with a resolution of 1.47km/pixel at the equator. After import, I would like to reporject into Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area (leae).
