Subject: v.support
Platform: GNU/Linux/i386
grass binary for platform: Downloaded precompiled Binaries
GRASS Version: 5.0
I think that the problem is that I'm using pre 5.0 data. So when I try to run v.support I have the error. It doesn't create topology for the data. The following is what I get
GRASS:~>v.support sacnsurl

ERROR: region for current mapset is not set

I'm very new to GRASS and may simply be doing something wrong. I appreciate any help here.
