Subject: v.in.shape
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
There is a bug in v.in.shape: It doesn't import a file containing
two dots:
GRASS:~/test > v.in.shape 528011.PL.shp
WARNING: Log file not specified. Sending messages to 'standard error'
Couldn't open input file. You did not supply a full path in the input name.
Could that be an error?
FATAL ERROR: There was a problem importing the map.

Then I renamed the file to contain only 1 dot and the import was
successfull:
GRASS:~/test > v.in.shape 528011.shp
WARNING: Log file not specified. Sending messages to 'standard error'
File `528011.shp' is of Type Line (Arc) with 488 entries.
Bounds:
W: -121.500012, E: -121.249978, S: 38.499988, N: 38.750010.
Map `528011' imported, apparently without problems.
